1. Identification and description of ways of thinking associated with a design mindset for teachers
This aims to research what are the main features of the interplay between design and teaching and what are those specific mindsets that a teacher should acquire to become a teacher as designer.
2. Run a full design thinking process to generate learning activities to develop teacher as designer mindsets
The activity engages teachers as co-designers as a physical workshop of 2-3 days in Finland, continuing with an online work. Through the phases of empathy, definition, ideation, and prototyping.
3. Identification and description of ways of thinking associated with a design mindset for teachers
This activity starts with the high-fidelity prototype(s) developedin activity 3. We will run three co-creation activities with a small group of teachers to transform the prototypes into one that can be shared more widely.

4. Dissemination and communication
This purpose is materialized through formal publication of case studies in journals or through short articles on partner websites and social networks.
Additionnally, newsletters distributed by the Ikigai Institute will be used in the purpose of keeping the teachers who participate in the learning processes updated.
