Sharing, learning, and further development
We recently had the pleasure of participating in a dynamic online conference hosted by the Universidad del Rosario in Colombia and the Universidad de Costa Rica, where we had the opportunity to present the progress of our project.
With a virtual audience of 160 passionate educators, the event sparked insightful around the topics of teachers as designers and design mindsets.
At the heart of our discussions was the concept of “Teachers as Designers” – and some key questions such as:
- How can we empower teachers to embrace a designer’s mindset in their practice?
- What are the fundamental mindsets that fuel innovation and creativity in teaching?
- What obstacles do teachers encounter when transitioning to a design-oriented approach to teaching?
The conference provided a unique opportunity to present the project results, so far, and get reactions and opinions from educators from diverse backgrounds. We experienced that faculty related well with the concept and the mindsets and saw the value of working in developing those mindsets.
Thank you Centro de Enseñanza, Aprendizaje y Trayectoria Profesoral and DEDUN for giving us such a great opportunity to share our project’s results.
